Posable Gryphon by LovelyTwistofNature Posable Gryphon by LovelyTwistofNature
Meet my newest posable, lovingly dubbed "Griffy" for now. He is approximately a foot long and maybe 7'' tall, with a wingspan of about 14". I am in LOVE with him! He is by far, constuction wise and sculpting wise, my best posable yet. YAY!

hi again! im goint to start my great griffin art doll, but have never created wings before. can i ask how you model the wings? what i mean by this is, that note i sent you about looping the wire also has a display armature with wings, is that how you form them, just wire? also, how do you attach the feathers?

There are some things you are going to have to develop on your own love! I have spent years honing my methods, and I strongly believe that is the best way to learn. I haven't even fully perfected my methods yet. Trial and error! You will find the best method for you.

Thank you so much! Feathers are a pain in the butt, but they are totally worth it.

Holy goodness you're pretty fantastic at this <3
He is an amazing posable! The details and feathers you used give him such a personality.

I really would love to commission you one day ;A;

Thank you so much for the terrific comment. That really means a lot to me!

If you want more information on a commission, you can note me or look in my journal for the entry "Update" :) I have some base prices but I am absolutely willing to work with you if you have a different budget. Also, even if you ask me for information, You don't need to feel obligated to commission me right now.

Aww, I'm glad it does!

And okay, I'll note you once I'm home! I'm leaving college for winter break today (: Hopefully over the break I'll get enough to commission you : D
